A big hole has been left in a regional Australian community with the tragic passing of a beloved Townsville doctor.

The grieving wife of a beloved doctor has spoken out publicly after his tragic death, which has left his family and patients reeling.The Cranbrook GP had served the Healthlink Family Medical Centre for almost 25 years before his untimely passing.

Author Taryn Claire revealed on her public Facebook page that her husband’s death was a complete shock.“I have lost my friend, my companion, my lover,” she said in the lengthy post accompanied by happy snaps.“After 28 years together and believing we’d have more than double that left together I am still processing. There is grief for all the future things we won’t do together. There is heartache, sadness, hurt, brokenness.
