In the text exchange, Nick said they needed “all hands on deck” while they replaced the lost staff member and would have to push Noel’s leave back a few months. “I’ve advised HR it’s now changed for you,” Nick said. Noel responded that he was sorry to hear about Jenny leaving the business, but he was unable to cancel his leave. “What do you mean you already told HR my leave has changed?” he asked.
