Melbourne DJ CourtMills has been hospitalised with bleeding on the brain from falling down a flight of stairs in Bali. 7NEWS

Bali-based Courtney Mills was initially told “everything was fine” after she suffered a concussion in the incident.

But something felt “off” and she sought answers from a private hospital, where scans revealed bleeding on the right side of her brain.Mills does not have private health insurance and her medical costs have already exceeded $3000, according to a GoFundMe page set up for her. “If you’re familiar with the Australian music scene, you may know my friend as a talented DJ, Courtney Mills, who has brought joy and happiness to countless people,” friend Lauren Frankhauser wrote.Credit:“I’m asking for your help to support them during this challenging time. She needs to stay overnight at the hospital for monitoring and more scans in the morning.

“Any donations you can spare will go towards covering their medical expenses and potentially saving their life.”
