Aussie swim star Kaylee McKeown has broken another world record to write herself into the history books with an extremely rare feat.The 22-year-old Aussie broke the 50 metre backstroke world record at the World Cup swimming meet in Budapest in a time of 26.86 seconds.
Renowned for her X-rated celebration after winning gold at the Tokyo Olympics, McKeown looked genuinely shocked after she touched the wall and realised she had broken the record. Kaylee McKeown just SMOKED the 50 backstroke World Record at the Budapest Swimming World Cup with a 26.86 ð¥¶During the first day of the final leg of the 2023 Swimming World Cup, Kaylee McKeown set a new WR in womenâs 50 backstroke in 26.86, 0.12 seconds faster Liu Xiangâs previous standard. Now McKeown is the world record holder in all backstroke distances in long course meters.
