An out-of-control bushfire in Perth's northeast has destroyed more than 70 homes, with residents to the north of the blaze told to evacuate ahead of forecast gusty winds.
The fire's northern flank is expected to spread on Wednesday, with residents in the Shady Hills View and Bullsbrook - where the RAAF Base Pearce is located - told to evacuate to the north. "You need to shelter in your home in a room away from the fire front and make sure you can easily escape," the latest warning says.Premier Mark McGowan said WA was enduring an unprecedented crisis.
