Failing to be self disciplined with simple 'social-distancing' is a pretty good indicator that they will not distance inside Australian borders. To me that's a good enough reason to deny entry during these times
The Airport is not design for social distance recommended 4 sq meter per person. Airport areas are designed for less than 50% of that. The mishap was not to re-schedule flights to get lower number of people disembarking at the same time. Gov and Airport management incompetence.
One could suggest that, if they are from the same plane, they have already spent hours in close proximity. Bit late to freak about queueing.
They were sitting next to each other for hours. What difference does this make - none. Close airport instead.
NSW is precious! They think the world revolves around them and they are immune from any pandemic! 2 bungled in 1 week that threaten the health of fellow Australians - shame on you planet NSW!!!
The people that let this happen, are the same people that let people with the virus into Australia from overseas.
I thought australian borders were closed?
Heres a question... Why dont they fly them all to Christmas Island for a week to get tested before they are let back in?
And we think they’ll self isolate for 14 days? I doubt it!!!
Someone here said, they wouldn’t have done that inside the plane anyway, not enough space for it
GladysB i wonder how long it will take for government to realise how stupid they are?
Didn't Australia laugh at the stupidly of America doing the same two weeks ago ?
So many morons, my boss wanted me to go to work for 2 hours a day so everyone could come see me during those hours, how does compressing exposure into 2 hours change anything? 🙄
Best quote I’ve heard all day is ‘It’s not a crime to be a dickhead’. Dunno how that fits in with your post but seems appropriate.
Keep them all out.. borders should be CLOSED
China is placing all new arrivals into separate quarantined buildings, no going home until they’ve passed the 14 days.

Sydney airport mega fail
They were like that before and during the flight.
And these ate the very people importing the virus. Straight into isolation - no question.
This is ScoMo's government who is in control of this chaos. Let that sink in.
pruwawn Tweet reports lots of coughing flight from Indonesia
Just shows Australia is not fair dinkum yet and that nonchalant attitude will cost lives.
Took them long enough to return... No room on Christmas Island for quarantine?
Please take personal responsibility we shouldn’t have to live in a police state
Another splendid job by Dutton's BS 'Border force'.
More evidence for the trials we will hold against he people who created and caused this. Gov in massive trouble fed and state
Seriously GladysB ? Sydney is about to explode with cases now after this. ScottMorrisonMP coronavirusaustralia
Sydney airport must be another jurisdiction. Our law doesn’t apply
Announcement about social distancing requirement at Australian airports can be made at the airport repeatedly and even on all inbound flights. Not so difficult if there is enough room available to create social distancing marking tape pax movement lines.
They might just be queuing for a haircut
Are they all off the same plane? If so, I’d say standing in lines is the least of their problems, or in other words, it’s too late. It would make a big difference to the story, just saying.
Since when has anyone globally takes anything this country says seriously, like emissions targets for example.
What are you doing Sydney seriously!?
How a pit people using their common sense.
Are they being given the correct information?
That's an entire row of adults who should have known better
Anybody fined?
