Premier Daniel Andrews has quietly approved lockdown picnics for Victorians after slamming the idea last month when it was proposed by New South Wales.

It comes after the Victorian Premier shot down New South Wales Premier Gladys Berejiklian's plan to allow the vaccinated to gather in groups of up to five people from Monday September 13.

Vaccinated Victorians will be allowed to catch up for picnics in groups of five adults under the Andrews government's recent easing of restrictions. Those who are fully vaccinated will be able to gather in groups of five adults and their dependents from no more than two households. “If you're not vaccinated, by logic tells you, and the Chief Health Officer has confirmed that group needs to be smaller.”

Reported for misleading political information.

All about control, nothing about health. Curfew must go, businesses and schools must open...

Now that he is facing mass non compliance because people have had enough, 0 cases is not going to happen again and if it dose its temporary. Victoria has had enough!

Typical snide comment by Sky about Andrews. No mention of Vic. vaccines being allocated to NSW Last month or that persons from NSW infected Victoria. At least Scomo would be pleased by Sky misrepresentation.

Skynews. Wont let the truth get in the way of good propaganda

Politicians, unbelievable

Why is so quiet about this?

I don’t get why ‘picnics’ is the new narrative. Could you imagine seeing this headline if you lives in another country. Or even state?! It makes us look absurd
