Andrews outlines why vaccine mandates are staying as other rules wind back

The comments come as Victoria relaxed quarantine rules for close contacts, vaccine requirements for those entering pubs, clubs, cafes and restaurants along with the scrapping of QR code check-ins.

The Premier has denied claims that the transport industry is struggling with vaccine mandates, saying he is in regular contact with those in the sector. “We are one of the most highly vaccinated communities in the world and that is a great credit to every Victorian who has gone and got a first and second dose and the growing number of people getting a third dose.”
