Sky News host chrissmithonair says the release of Australian-British academic Kylie Moore-Gilbert has overwhelmingly favoured the Iranian regime following reports of a 'prisoner swap'.

Sky News host Chris Smith says the release of Australian-British academic Kylie Moore-Gilbert has overwhelmingly favoured the Iranian regime following reports of a "prisoner swap". Mr Smith said Australians should never forget the 804 days the Iranians used to get a reward "for a gang of its worst killers" in what he said had become Iran's "go-to hustle". "So the Iranians finally freed Australian-British academic Kylie Moore-Gilbert.

" In footage aired by State TV, Ms Moore Gilbert was shown wearing a grey hijab, sitting at what was thought to be a waiting room at Mehrabad International Airport in Tehran. "Soon after, three prisoners - who it's widely believed had been imprisoned in Thailand for acts of terror in 2012 - were brought into the room with Iranian flags over their shoulders," Mr Smith said.
