The United States Justice Department is preparing to announce charges against two men from Britain, known as the 'Beatles', who joined the Islamic State and were part of a cell that beheaded Western hostages.

Two alleged Islamic State militants known as the 'Beatles' will arrive in the United States to face trial on terrorism charges, relating to their alleged involvement in the beheadings of American hostages in Syria.

The group is alleged to have detained or killed Western hostages in Syria, including US journalists James Foley and Steven Sotloff and aid workers Kayla Mueller and Peter Kassig. "These charges are the product of many years of hard work in pursuit of justice for our citizens slain by ISIS. Although we cannot bring them back, we can and will seek justice for them, their families, and for all Americans," Attorney-General William P. Barr said.

Push to reopen state borders shows business sector out of touch, WA Premier saysWA Premier Mark McGowan accuses some in the business community of being out of touch with public sentiment and wanting coronavirus to 'come back' to the state by calling for the border to be lifted. WA’s border closure clearly shows the Premier is more concerned about himself than the residents of WA. There is no medical reason to keep the borders closed to people from SA, Tasmania, NSW, Qld orNT unless you are trying to falsely portray yourself as the hero & win an election It is the WA Premier who has lost touch with reality. How can businesses survive until next year’s state election ? If the decisions were based on medical data or epidemiology OK but unfortunately for West Australians the hard border decision is based on LABOUR’s grab for POWER.

The state has recorded six new cases and two more deaths. Today’s numbers offset yesterday. We might avoid an extension to the lockdown after all. covid19 This new cluster is clearly from surface contact transmission, increased by mask wearing due to excessive hand to face contact. Masks also embolden sick people to leave home and not isolate. Masks make things worse. The Age, once a journalist enterprise that leaned Left. We don't know what happened. When people get old their skin thins. She may of got this from falling still. She must have been hit around the face/head and dragged along the floor. My mother is 94, has had several falls and has never had bruises like these! Terrible.

Removing hard border would likely see movement restricted in state, WA's top doctor saysWestern Australia's Chief Health Officer says any move to relax the state's hard border would likely see a return to stronger restrictions on movement within the state. And yet NSW is coping. 🙄 I never realized Labor would become the party of pro-borders and preventing people from traveling to there area due to no other reason than where they came from. How are we going to cope when the entire country has to eventually open up to the rest of the world?
