Alleged double murderer Beau Lamarre-Condon has been officially removed from the NSW Police as he awaits his next court appearance . The 28-year-old remains in custody after being charged with killing Sydney couple Jesse Baird and Luke Davies at a Paddington home last month. Police allege he used his service revolver to shoot the men before disposing of their bodies at a rural property at Bungonia , two hours southwest of Sydney.
On Friday, NSW Police released a statement saying Mr Lamarre-Condon had been ”removed”. “An off-duty police officer charged with two counts of murder in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs has been removed today from the NSW Police Force,” the statement read. “Under section 181D of the Police Act 1990, the Commissioner has the ability to remove officers if she has lost confidence in their suitability to continue as a police officer.” The alleged murders of TV presenter Mr Baird and Qantas flight attendant Mr Davies on Monday, February 19 shocked the community and sparked an outpouring of grief. It will be alleged in court Mr Lamarre-Condon, who previously had intimate encounters with Mr Baird, plotted to kill the former Channel 10 star. Police allege Mr Lamarre-Condon displayed an “escalating” pattern of stalking Mr Baird before he allegedly carried out the murders. Mr Davies, it will be alleged, was also killed because he was at Mr Baird’s home when the former police officer arrived
