The Victorian Premier has used a press conference confirming the approval of almost a thousand build-to-rent apartments to take a swipe at the Liberals and the Greens over blocking housing developments.

"We've got something like over 18,000 build-to-rent properties... either under construction or in the approvals pipeline," she said.
