NSW could enjoy a significant relaxation of COVID-19 restrictions in as little as two weeks if Victoria's virus containment continues on its current path amid the state's staged easing of lockdown restrictions | LucyCormack marywardy

Ms Ardern said she would need to be assured that no one could travel from an Australian hotspot "into the states where we are engaging with in trans-Tasman travel". The Premier said she would like to see a reciprocal arrangement for quarantine-free travel with New Zealand, provided it is cleared by the health advice. "Certainly not having Kiwis in quarantine would free up for Australians to come back as well," she added.
