Labor leader Anthony Albanese says he considers himself loyal to the “economic mainstream” which seeks “strong fiscal policy” without being a “fetishist” on issues. ljayes

Labor leader Anthony Albanese says he considers himself loyal to the “economic mainstream” which seeks “strong fiscal policy” without being a “fetishist” on issues. Mr Albanese made the comments after being asked by Sky News host Laura Jayes whether he considered himself an “economic conservative”. “I would describe myself as someone who regards the economic mainstream,” he said.

“I think that you need strong fiscal policy and you need strong discipline but you also need to not be a fetishist about issues.” Ms Jayes asked the Opposition Leader whether former ALP leader Bill Shorten was “happy” in his role as a shadow minister. “I think everyone's fully aware of what the circumstances are, which are unfortunate,” Mr Albanese said. “We all worked for a Shorten-Labor Government. “We worked very hard – we worked for six years.

ljayes Yet another genius strategic pronouncement. Massively shut even at basic populism.

ljayes How many ppl are you Albo...?

ljayes I hope Albo enjoys being in Opposition- he'll be there for a long time.

ljayes I'm sorry! What?⁉️⁉️⁉️

ljayes ScottMorrisonMP Albanese “Consensus he’s turned out to be worse than many people thought” “Nothing new on strategy nothing new on policy” Albanese fake medivac bill only 4 of the 111 illegals transferred even went to a hospital & were discharged'

Who knows whether Albo's perception of himself is correct or not, but out of a bunch of twits he is certainly a decent human being whose intention is to do the right thing. Get him & his favourites from any side and sack the others

ljayes Jesus bloody Christ, nearly choked on me coffee!!

ljayes But strong fiscal policy and climate change policy cannot co-exist...... Is he moving away from the climate fraud lobby? It would be an intelligent move, that's for sure! ClimateFraud

ljayes So he's a neoliberal, that believes in trickle down economics and finance at the expense of workers and small business. I though shorten was bad, but Albaneses is way worse.
