Labor frontbencher Anthony Albanese has defended party leader Bill Shorten’s popularity saying ‘he’s very engaging’.

Mr Albanese says a Shorten-led Labor government would bring a much-needed consistency to Australian government following ‘the absolute chaos and division on the other side of politics’.

The Labor frontbencher has told Sky News he watched as ‘three prime ministers and three deputy prime ministers’ passed through the Liberal Party and has personally ‘shadowed no less than 13 people in the infrastructure side of my portfolio since having the job’. Image: News Corp Australia
