Labor colleagues ‘hose down’ suggestions of rift between Chalmers and AlbaneseQuestions of a “rift” between Treasurer Jim Chalmers and Prime Minister Anthony Albanese have arisen over changes to superannuation, says Sky News Political Reporter Olivia Caisley. Ms Caisley said Mr Chalmers refused to 'rule out the prospect” of the government going after what could be considered the “golden goose” of tax concessions and tax breaks on the family home. “The Prime Minister had to come out after him and mop up and emphatically rule out,” she said. “This has led to an appearance of a rift between the pair, but Labor colleagues have hosed down any suggestion of any conflict.” Oh please! Get a real job…..this is plain rubbish. If anything, Chalmers did the right thing and didn’t commit himself or rule out future tax decisions. It was Albanese’s job to discuss that. Good minister - Bad minister ploy takes turn for the worse.

The Liberal leader spent his third visit to the electorate playing ping-pong with members of the local Chinese community. No one will vote for a man as ugly as Dutton because that's human nature. Libs need a leader people actually like.....

An ‘on the run’ budget is so Albanese can ‘cash grab’ for higher government spendingAn “on the run” cash grab policy “is no way for a government to make its budget,” says Shadow Foreign Minister Simon Birmingham after the Albanese government announced new taxes for superannuation. “The chaos alongside the broken promise around this is most remarkable,” Mr Birmingham told Sky News Australia. “They can’t answer the most basic questions around a policy they appear to have just announced on the run as a cash grab to prop up their intent for higher government spending. “Jim Chalmers from the outset has been clear, he does not want to index the $3 million dollar figure – so each and every year, you can expect to see thousands more Australians captured by this.” You mean like RoboDebt? Hang on Birmo - your government were ok chasing up Robodebt fake debts, but not the very wealthy who have $3m in their super accounts. That’s faulty logic. TI SuperDuper It’s just theft!
