Nationals Senator Matt Canavan says Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese “is not ready to be Prime Minister of this country”.

“The Labor Party thought they could get by with a new pair of glasses and new suit,” he told Sky News host Paul Murray.

“You need to be able to, as a leader, first of all – be able to describe your own policies – second of all, be able to advocate for them and actually know something fundamentally about the Australian economy. “If you can’t handle the Canberra Press Gallery, you’re not going to be able to handle the Canberra bureaucracy.”

Oh dear says the minister for coal what a surprise

It's pretty bloody obvious

Let the bottle breath

Sky bringing out the bottom of the barrel commentators to try to help Morrison .

Wow, who would have guessed this? Go back to Journalism University and try again to pass please Sky News Gossip team.

Meanwhile Canavan is not ready to deal with our environmental crises driven by his fanatic support for fossil fuel hyperconsumption. He does the bidding of the FF industry and fails to properly represent his state.

Sky News loves Gina & Clive's plan for coal mines in the Galilee basin. Forget gaffes, Matt Canavan dropped a bomb his coalition parties have no emissions policy by declaring NetZero is dead. No climate policy too. Matt is driving southern voters to IndependentsDay Kooyong

Jeez, fancy someone like Canavan saying that. Who would have thought? On Sky as well. Just baffling! 😉

Given he's an utter dill, Cosplay's opinion is irrelevant.

Albanese is the ‘stumbling block’ to Labor’s election victory amid NDIS gaffeBiased media may play a part, to be fair? If you think that, you are in for a big surprise. Australians are not as stupid as Murdoch thinks they are. The Labor caucus have a number of people that are far smarter and politically gifted that would have been a better choice than Albo. It is a sad byproduct of the party machines on both sides that these sort of compromise candidates end up being the choice put before the people.
