Mr Morale & the Big Steppers.Rapper and record producer Kendrick Lamar will release a long-awaited new album on May 13, five years since his Grammy Award-winning album, which launched last August with an image of a folder and made reference to Lamar producing his “final TDE album” for the Top Dawg Entertainment label.
Another song from the album,Lamar was scheduled to headline the Glastonbury Festival in 2020 until the COVID-19 pandemic led to its cancellation. Meanwhile, he launched “multilingual, artist-friendly” company pgLang with Dave Free, former co-president of TDE, to represent artists., Lamar was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Music, making him the first musician outside the classical and jazz genres to ever receive the award.
