The Australian Federal Police has been praised for its efforts in leading a global crime sting alongside the FBI to eradicate organised crime.

Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton said the AFP has shown it is one of the most successful law enforcement agencies around the world during Operation Ironside.

“I think we’ve demonstrated, through this operation, the worth of the Home Affairs portfolio,” Mr Dutton said. More than 800 criminal figures have been detained around the world after authorities used an encrypted app to assist in the arrests.

Yesterday it was all Morrison taking the credit

But Scomo is still not in jail

Are you for real? Weren’t mentioned once on real news channels. They can’t even interview an alleged rapist!

Live: AFP prevented a mass shooting in an Australian suburb, Commissioner Reece Kershaw saysThe Australian Federal Police provides details into a sting that tricked mafia, bikie and global gang heavyweights into delivering their plans straight into the hands of detectives. Follow live. And taking pot shots at Labor. Totally inappropriate when standing with the Federal Police and FBI. They needed to leave before he made any such comment. And against the cruelty against the family on Christmas Island, they look ridiculous. Nothing to do with thePM Why is Scott Morrisson giving this presser? Is he so desperate to take credit for anything that he just jumps in now?

Bikies, mafia taken down in huge crime stingIn what’s been dubbed the “sting of the century” hundreds of people have been arrested as part of a global operation to bring down terrorist groups, mafia organisations and outlaw motorcycle gangs. Too bad the AFP took no such action when it came to alleged criminals and others using fraudulent documents or tipping off the media about their raids who are sitting in our parliament. How's this going? You're barely covering it. Tharnicaa has now been diagnosed with pneumonia. This government are fucking evil bastards. The AFP seize international mail on belief they contain drugs. Destroy packages without ever testing them, fail to comply with Aus legislation requiring them to send owner a notice of seizure within 7 days of seizing package. 100000s packages a year, destroyed seized unlawfully.
