Rapturous scenes as Buddy Franklin kicks his 1000th goal. Franklin begun the 2022 season needing five goals to become just the sixth player in VFL/AFL history to kick 1000 goals. After kicking just one major in Round 1 against Green’s Giants, the champion left-footer was left with four to get to make it a perfect celebration at his home ground in front of a packed crowd on a Friday night in Sydney.
