Chief Minister Andrew Barr announced the Australian Capital Territory recorded 26 new cases overnight bringing total active cases to 233.

ACT Health contact tracers are following up the activities of four positive cases to determine possible exposure sites and close contacts.

The ACT now has over 400 exposure sites and more than 1,800 people in isolation as close contacts across the territory. New changes for Canberra businesses came into effect on Saturday with people now allowed to visit waste disposal sites such as tips for essential reasons.
