US news coverage swayed by Bloomberg's double standards | Sky News AustraliaSky News host Paul Murray says the left-wing media hypocritically engage in exactly the sort of behaviour that they supposedly find in right-wing media stations.\n\nMr Murray said Fox news, a conservative news channel, has been repeatedly accused by the left of deliberately triying to tilt things in favour of one candidate or another.\n\nHowever, the left-leaning news monitoring website Mediaite has reported that “Bloomberg news will return to normal coverage of the election” because he has dropped out of the race and put his billions behind Joe Biden.\n\nWhen Bloomberg announced he would run for president, his News editor-in-chief John Micklethwait sent out a memo outlining “how coverage would change, including the decision to continue not investigating Bloomberg” and the extension of that courtesy to his democratic rivals.\n\nWhen Bloomberg was asked about this he said “They get a paycheck, but with your paycheck comes some restrictions and responsibilities”. \n\nAccording to Mr Murray, “this is a genuine story about someone trying to affect news coverage that was beneficial to a side of politics and a candidate in particular”.\n\nImage: Associated Press Bloomberg isn’t a leftie.... I'm kinda curious what you think is inherently right or left wing about 'news'. I mean you've got the word in your name and the dictionary says nothing about it.
