A star-studded crowd turned out for a state memorial service for Olivia Newton-John, revered for her trailblazing performances and philanthropy.

The Grease star died following a 20-year battle with cancer at the age of 73.

"Every day with Olivia was supernatural. Every day with Olivia was a bit of magic," he told the memorial service.
