Federal Health Minister GregHuntMP says a “sovereign vaccine” is the way forward to “saving” the country from the COVID-19 virus.

Federal Health Minister Greg Hunt says a “sovereign vaccine” is the way forward to “saving” the country from the COVID-19 virus. “We’ve seen over 37 million cases this year alone - over 850 thousand lives lost. Whilst the numbers have dropped significantly since January - sadly we’ve seen an uptick in the last week", he said. “We need to be ever vigilant.

That’s why our plan - in particular - of containment, of testing and tracing and distancing on top of our borders has been fundamental. "But we also have to continue with the vaccination program.” Mr Hunt said the way forward would be helped immensely by the domestic production of a vaccine.

GregHuntMP Great idea. 12 months too late Greg

GregHuntMP By sovereign vaccine do we mean the state appropriating such and making our own and not paying demanded commercial prices based on intellectual property protection? If so I say let's do it when we have the capacity.

GregHuntMP The only way to save AustraliaNS is to save them from this kind of pharmaceutical company marketing data driven fear mongering.. your listening to the sales reps!

GregHuntMP How about... NO vaccine

GregHuntMP WTF is a 'sovereign vaccine' ? We're all supposed to be vaccinated by October yet only 37 people (including queue jumper Morrison) have had their doses. What a hopeless bunch of clowns.

GregHuntMP In an extraordinary question time the P.M closed down the session after only 35 minutes. The P.M was smashed out of the park and the heat was too much. Tic Toc.

Sky News takes a look at the lasting legacy of National Cabinet | Sky News AustraliaA year after it was first established National Cabinet has permanently transformed Australia’s federation framework.\n\nOriginally convened to coordinate the pandemic response National Cabinet has been the scene of unprecedented unity and disunity between the premiers and the prime minster. \n ScottytheCoward blames the states for everything, is that how it works? It’s clear to see what Palachook is so on edge with every case, check in codes in QLD are adhoc multiple apps are being used, contract tracing would be a nightmare, they are obviously not up for the task. Once again NSW leading the way, one app only for check in class tracers! Duh A bunch of zoom meetings has not 'permanently transformed Australia’s federation framework.'
