Sydney is facing a day of reckoning as authorities race against time to save Christmas for millions amid fresh venue warnings across the city. Follow our live updates.

As we head into Tuesday, here's the latest list of affected venues from NSW Health.

If you visited any of the following at the times mentioned, you need to get tested and isolate for 14 days regardless of the result.+ Avalon Beach RSL Club+ United Cinemas, Avalon Beachfrom 7am-8am on Wednesday December 16, Thursday December 17 and Friday December 18;from 7pm-9pm on Monday December 14;+ Sankaku Izakaya Newportfrom 6.30pm-8.30pm on Tuesday December 15.

from 12.45pm-3.30pm on Wednesday December 16. If you were there for more than an hour you're a close contact, otherwise you're a casual contact;+ United Cinemas, WarriewoodIf you were at the following venues, NSW Health asks you to get tested and isolate until it provides more information.

If you were at the next group of venues, you should get tested immediately and isolate pending the result.from 5.30am-6pm on Thursday December 17, Friday December 18 and Saturday December 19;from 1.30pm-2pm on Thursday December 17;Finally, if you attended these venues, monitor for symptoms of the virus. If symptoms appear, get tested and isolate immediately.

"NSW Health urges anyone in NSW with even the mildest symptoms, such as headache, fatigue, cough, sore throat or runny nose, to come forward immediately for testing, then isolate until they receive a negative result."
