ANALYSIS: A last-ditch plea for forgiveness after years of Coalition infighting

While the Coalition is offering a renovation of the blue house and promises more comfortable living inside, it's warning that the weather outside is turning for the worse. The economic winds are starting to buffet. Thank goodness the Coalition's gone for sturdy double-brick.

Bill Shorten might have made shifting home enticing, with his promises of even lower rents, electric cars and the like. But think of the overheads and the hidden costs! He's a spendthrift, don't you know? He comes from a long family of them, don't you know? The Coalition says its superior household budgeting skills — what Mr Frydenberg says is its ability to make"difficult but necessary choices" — has allowed it to open the purse at this time of need.

What fantastic spin theirabc has put on a budget involving sound economic management, yes there are sweeteners for voters, that’s called politics you morons! Wayne Swan literally handed over billions to the sheeple under the guise of saving the economy and we are still paying

No one is buying it

The infighting, lies, drama, hypocrisy, backstabbing and manipulation of the Labor Party leaves them as “World Champions”! There’s nothing on the conservative side of politics that comes even close to “Crooked Labor”! Rudd/Gillard/Rudd/Shorten/Plibersek/Bowen/Swan! Enough said!!!

Last ditch swindlers. Can't win on merit so pull a swifty....

Just like the nasty schoolyard bully as end of year approaches. 'We didn't really mean all that other stuff' auspol LNP Liberals

They will pay for the TonyAbbottMHR and PeterDutton_MP cancer. JoshFrydenberg won’t even win Kooyong! Libs are opposition for at least 2 possibly 3 terms. They need a totally new crew!

Coming from the group who have been persecuting and killing people who committed no crime that is just the most sniveling spineless lack of accountability enabled by a parasitic sense of entitlement imaginable.

Theresa May cuts her Brexit deal in half in last-ditch bid to pass it | Sky News AustraliaTheresa May has launched a last-ditch bid to save her Brexit deal - by getting MPs to only vote on one half of it.\n\nOn Friday local time, the UK prime minister will ask the House of Commons to approve only the withdrawal agreement - the divorce element of the deal she struck with Brussels back in November.\n\nIf this passes, the EU will allow the new Brexit date to be set for 22 May.\n\nIf it does not, on 12 April the UK will either leave the EU with no deal or have to request a longer delay to Brexit.\n\nA longer delay would force the UK to once again elect MEPs to the European Parliament.\n\nThere has also been speculation Brussels could make the granting of a more substantial extension to the Article 50 negotiating period conditional on a second EU referendum being held.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Staceylee_ theresa_may Unfortunately, the 29th March will remain in history as the day democracy died in the UK CISOZ Staceylee_ theresa_may It's a bit hubristic to me that your elected Prime Minister has boxed you out of options-wants to leave you tethered to the EU in a way harmful to your nation and wants to walk away from this as soon as she has done so, leaving to others the indecipherable mess she has created. Australian Islamic State recruit's plea: bring my family homeAfter surrendering to Kurdish forces, an Australian Islamic State fighter wants to come home. While he knows he'll go to jail, he is pleading for his family to be able to return to a normal life Sick opportunist. The atrocities that this man was willing to support go beyond what can be considered a normal crime. He should be stripped of his citizenship and be forced to to stay and face to consequences of his actions. Why give him a platform at all...is he any different from the Christchurch attacker?...(we know the Age thinks he is different) I will be labelled with one of the nouns the far left like to throw around, only words here goes. His family are just as big a threat to Australians anyway, of course Australia should not let them in.
