Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has unleashed a tirade against America’s top scientist Dr Anthony Fauci – declaring “someone needs to grab that little elf and chuck him across the Potomac”.Dr Fauci announced on Monday he will be stepping down from his current roles in December.
He is the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and the chief medical adviser to President Joe Biden.
