Defence Minister and LNP MP for Dickson Peter Dutton says it has been a “terrible day today” for the Liberal family.
“There are colleagues around the country, good people, who have potentially lost their seats,” Mr Dutton said. “Now there are still thousands and thousands of postal votes and prepoll votes to count – so there’s some hope in some of those seats but in many the race is very tight.”
