Shocked at the tone and the wording of this WA episode. Mark McGowan went to great lengths on Friday 21 January 2022 Covid presser to explain the extension to WA border closure in view of wild fire of Covid in other States.
Reading the WA CHO advice 19 Jan. WA’s options: wait until there is no Covid in the world (silly); open in summer/autumn (high vax/hosp cap ok); open in flu season; open at the end of the year. Should do what TAS, SA and QLD did- IMO- before winter.
Stop being divisive. If WA wants to protect its citizens then it's a good thing. Putting the economy over people's lives is immoral.
I have enjoyed your recent shows but this one was a let down particularly the WA story. The rural health story was much better, real challenges that need to be addressed. I am so over coffee shop stories and people whining because they can’t visit their families.

I'm from Adelaide and personally, I think McGowan is doing the right thing. I honestly wish that South Australia's Premier marshall_steven had done the same rather than opening up.
