53 fined in Melbourne for refusing to wear a mask

breaches across the state in the past 24 hours, including to 53 people who refused to wear a mask in public.

Of these 53, many were issued to people who had no reason to give for not wearing a mask and refused to accept a mask offered by police or Protective Services Officers, according to police.Others who were fined included a group of people caught by police congregating around a fire at a property in Frankston in Melbourne's south.

A man is fined by Victoria Police for refusing to wear a face mask in Melbourne today. From midnight on Sunday, face coverings will become compulsory across Victoria.In a separate incident, a group of five men found drinking alcohol at a reserve in Casey were also fined. Fines were also issued to three men who had travelled from Clayton to Melbourne's CBD and were eating lunch together in a public place.

None of this is about masks. Its about vaccines. Strategies are being tested to make everyone want or comply with forced vaccination. The mask is a test run. The real fight will be forcing a vaccine on everyone

Make the fine $10,000 or 12 months jail. Maybe just some of the idiots will get the message

How about a life time tax loading if you do not comply? Like you get with private health. After all their arrogance is going to cost us money in the long run so we should be able to recoup this back over their life time. Not that you can recoup someones life.

Saying it again. These people have no idea. Conspiracy theories aside, people are dying and our economy is crashing. One of these two things are going to impact them in some way for the rest of their lives so just put a fucken mask on and be done with it.

Give them hefty fines. If possible their dole payments should be stopped immediately.
