Opposition leader David Crisafulli has pledged to establish an independent delivery authority if he wins the election. This would be separate to the delivery authority Premier Steven Miles said would be in place by mid-year. “You don’t deliver anything on budget if you make a bunch of changes of decision. So while the decision process here is complicated, you could actually incur greater costs, because you haven’t made secure siting decisions in advance.”, told the Senate inquiry that frustration about progress on some foundation issues was fair, but the pace was not damaging and progress had been made in areas such as marketing arrangements.
