11 people have died in a car crash involving two vehicles on the R622 Greytown road
Eleven people have died in a car crash involving two vehicles on the R622 Mooi Plaza at Greytown road, in the KwaZulu-Natal midlands. The cause of the crash is unknown at this stage.
RTI’s Chief Provincial Inspector Andre Horner says the injured have been taken to various hosipitals. “The accident happened on the R622 Greytown road near Garewood farm plus or minus 10km from Mooi Plaza, two vehicles are involved and Toyota Fortuner. Four occupants were in the vehicle, three fatalities and one seriously injured. The second vehicle, eight fatalities and two seriously injured. There is an obstruction on the road. Three injured, one was taken to Midlands hospital and the other two have been taken to Greytown hospital.
