Despite Young Sheldon having wrapped in early 2024, one cast member has returned to their character for Halloween. Iain Armitage took on the role of the younger version of Jim Parsons' The Big Bang Theory character in 2017, playing Sheldon for 7 seasons until this past May. After the loss of his father, Young Sheldon season 7 ended with Sheldon leaving Texas behind and heading to CalTech to continue his studies, leading into the events of the original series.
Revealing that his intended Halloween costume didn't arrive in time for the holiday, the actor shared a brief video of himself in Sheldon's costume, where he recited his character's catchphrase:"Bazinga." What Armitage's Post Means For His Young Sheldon Future The Cooper Family Reunion May Not Happen Any Time Soon Close Though other members of Young Sheldon's cast have returned to the franchise in the currently airing Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage, viewers shouldn't expect to see Sheldon appear in the spin-off in its first season.
