The FDA on Tuesday approved a second COVID-19 booster shot of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine for anyone age 50 and up and for certain younger individuals who are immunocompromised. Do you plan to get a 4th shot?

The FDA has authorized a second booster dose of either the Pfizer or the Moderna COVID-19 vaccines for some Americans.CLEVELAND, Ohio — The federal government on Tuesday authorized a second booster shot of either the Pfizer-BioNTech or the Moderna COVID-19 vaccines for anyone age 50 and up and for certain younger immunocompromised individuals.

Dr. Keith Armitage, infectious disease physician and medical director of the Roe Green Center for Travel Medicine and Global Health at University Hospitals in Cleveland, said he would recommend a booster for those over 65 if it has been more than six months since their first booster. The only reason he would not advise getting the extra booster would be an adverse reaction to the vaccine. This would be unlikely if the patient already had the original two shots and a booster without an adverse reaction, Armitage said in an email.

I don't have the first shot

So effective, you only need 4 doses in a years time.

👍👍👍

The FDA purposely skipped their protocol of incorporating feedback of their external advisors in this decision. Show is the science

The Vaccine works so well that we need 4 doses of them. 👎👎

Absolutely.

I've had Covid and 3 shots, I'm good.

👍🏻

Absolutely

Of course I will. I just wish there was a bit more data to determine the best timing. At this point I'm thinking late summer to get me into the fall/ winter. (The choose your own adventure approach from the CDC is frustrating)

Well, I didn't get 1, 2, or 3 so...

There’s no justification for any of this. Unless you’re just trying to help enrich big pharma and the politicians they own.

Yep
