Latto said she got a BBL at 21 because she felt pressure from people online who made comments about her being ‘bad-bodied.’
In a recent livestream — a video of which has been making the rounds online — Latto opened up about her choice to pursue, the rapper pointed to public pressure and cruel comments about her body as a reason for getting the butt-enhancement surgery when she was a “young and impressionable” 21-year-old.said, adding that after signing her record deal at 21, she could suddenly afford to indulge in her favorite foods, which caused her to gain a little weight.
Around this time, she decided to get a BBL. Latto, now 25, said people still, for some reason, feel the need to bring it up constantly in the comments of her Instagrams. “Every time I post a gym picture, people be like, ‘Oh, she got a BBL.’ I’ve been so loud and clear about a BBL that I had four years ago. When I was 21 — that y’all convinced me I needed, by the way,” she said.
During her recent livestream, though, she conceded that everyone should just do what works for them, saying, “Moral of the story: I just think everybody should just stop worrying about everybody. Natural girls are winning. Surgery girls … BBL girls are winning,” she said.
