Apple is adding a ton of great new features for your Apple Watch with watchOS 11. Here's when to expect it.

Not only did Apple show off its new software across multiple platforms but it also announced Apple Intelligence, its new suite of AI tools.
Related watchOS 11 developer beta release date Similar to iOS 18, Apple released watchOS 11 as a developer beta for those who want to try it out ahead of its public release this fall. Another important thing to note is that Apple will not service your Apple Watch if it is running beta software. And unlike an iPhone, iPad, or Mac, you cannot revert back to a public release. This adds another layer of complexity to running betas on the wearable, so again, we don’t recommend it unless you have a spare one lying around.
Historically speaking, when Apple releases beta software in early June, we should see the public beta drop around the end of June or early July. While Apple has not yet said when the public beta of watchOS 11 will be dropping, we should expect something similar to what we got in years past. And remember, if your Apple Watch is running a beta, Apple will not service it if it needs repairs. And unlike an iPhone, you can’t wipe and revert back to the latest public release of watchOS 10, so proceed with caution.
