Mets shorstop finally back on track after slow start
New York Mets' Francisco Lindor has turned it on at the plate since being inserted as the leadoff hitter. After starting the season 1-for-31 in the first eight games and then batting .194 with a .633 OPS through 43 games, Mets manager Carlos Mendoza decided to slot Lindor in at the lead-off spot in the lineup, where he hasn’t hit since 2021.
