In a social media post, Vermilion Police say they were called to the scene on Liberty Avenue near Woodside Avenue on Thursday. The dog was in severe pain when police arrived on scene and bit two bystanders who were helping him, according to police.The vet reported the dog’s injuries were too extensive and would eventually be fatal. The dog was euthanized on scene, according to police.
