Perhaps even more exciting to me is Tom Hardy's interest in reprising his TV series role for the film. While addressing his Peaky Blinders movie return, Tom Hardy revealed that he wants to return as Alfie Solomons, saying he's "100%" behind the idea, though he's just "punting" at this point.
Peaky Blinders Hardly Featured Alfie After Season 5 Revealed His Survival Tom Hardy's Peaky Blinders Character Is A Fan-Favorite Close One of the characters who must return for Peaky Blinders' movie, Aflie Solomons is a fan-favorite personality. The owner of an illegal distillery and leader of a Jewish gang based in Camden Town, Alfie first appeared in Peaky Blinders season 2. After causing his fair share of strife, Alfie reveals to Tommy that he has life-threatening cancer.
Unfortunately, Alfie's role in season 6 is much more minor, likely because of Tom Hardy's other filming commitments. While we see him in the Cotton Club and again in the series' final moments, he doesn't make much of an impression. I find that it's always a treat to see Alfie appear on-screen with the rest of the Peaky Blinders crew, so seeing him in the movie would be great.
