David Corenswet shot at least two scenes for DC's new 'Superman' movie in downtown Cleveland on Tuesday.
That appeared to be the case Tuesday when the superhero, played by David Corenswet in DC’s upcoming “ Superman ,” wasby an unidentified villain in a scene filmed at Cleveland, err, Metropolis City Hall. Superman ’s masked nemesis was dressed in all-black with a “U” logo on his suit, leading some fans to speculate it’s Ultraman or at least some version of the character.
The Man of Steel was then led away into custody by Maybe-Ultraman, who was accompanied by Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr., Maria Gabriela de Faria as the Engineer and a small army of military personnel. It’s not certain what, if anything, was filmed after that as cleveland.com journalists were discovered and asked to move along after witnessing several takes of the scene.
The action was one of at least two scenes Corenswet filmed on the day.
