With the start of the season approaching, many camps are monitoring the pandemic’s progress, and crunching the numbers on potential mass refunds. Some parents have held off putting money down, with camps extending deadlines for enrollment.
“I feel a mix of unease and irresponsibility sending them to any summer camps,” he said. “Prevention is better than cure, and I want to do my bit to help prevent this virus spreading any more than it needs to.” A new Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report shows that fever, cough and shortness of breath were the most common symptoms of the virus in kids, but occur less often than in adults. Geoff Blanck owns and operates the Forest Lake Camps in New York’s Adirondacks region, serving 150 to 175 campers at a time. He’s proceeding with preparations for this season, scheduled to start June 28. He usually opens June 29, serving about 800 campers through the summer.
LMAO THE WORLD HAS MADE EVERYONE TO BE ENTERTAINED ALL THE TIME. THE TIME TO SUFFER IS NOW , ENJOY YOUR WONDERFUL KIDS THAT WERE RAISED BY GOVERNMENT BOOKS. LOL
My kids each spend a week at a wonderful affordable camp. We've registered for this year, but the kids know they might not get to go. It will break their hearts for now, but they understand.
Gosh we never had summer camps when I was a kid. Must be an American thing. Us kids stayed home and played, then did chores. My mum worked. Our nan looked after us when we were young, then we looked after ourselves.

Omg parents have to parent
