First appearing in Uncanny X-Men #269 by Chris Claremont, Jim Lee, Art Thibert, and Steve Buccellato, the costume has since become iconic thanks to Lee’s unforgettable artwork. Now, Chew’s Venom-ized version of Rogue’s Savage Land costume pays tribute to Lee’s work, adding in gross details like the symbiote’s fringe lined with teeth and Venom’s iconic tongue, as well as Rogue’s face being half-covered with Venom’s toothy maw.
