You won’t be alone in the challenge: Commuter Connections has a long list of transportation alternatives to make it easy to get around, and, best of all, those who pledge to participate in Car Free Day will receive a $30 gift promocode and a 24-hour pass for unlimited 45-minute rides via classic Capital Bikeshare. Metropolitan region.Area commuters are encouraged to telework or travel without driving alone in cars, such as train, bus, bicycle, walking, scooter, or using a carpool or vanpool.
To make going car free easy on Car Free Day and every day, Commuter Connections of Washington offers a free app calledthat helps commuters with multimodal transportation options. As the app is used, it calculates rewards points that can be redeemed for cash incentives through Commuter Connections. The app assists in helping choose travel modes, provides details on best travel times and shows the benefits of best transportation choices.
