Critics say the newly unveiled Olympics mascots look like a giant “clitoris” wearing sneakers – and one French publication is declaring that’s good news.
They’ve finally found the clitoris!
The red triangle-shaped mascots for the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic games in Paris are supposed to resemble a traditional Phrygian hat worn in the French revolution.
“By the dint of books, testimonials, documentaries, articles, videos on the taboo of the clitoris, it seems that collectively we have finally understood what it looks like beyond feminist circles,” Quentin Girard wrote in the paper, according to a rough translation.
