Massive brush fire causes traffic, train delays
Commuters trying to get home to New Jersey are facing a nightmare Thursday evening after all NJ Transit and Amtrak trains out of New York were halted and a raging brushfire slowed traffic on the NJ Turnpike.
A “malfunctioning circuit breaker” has caused a power outage between New York Penn Station and Newark Penn Station, according to Amtrak.All scheduled Amtrak trains between 30th Street Philadelphia and New Haven have been suspended “until further notice,” Amtrak told riders around 4 p.m.
