The entrepreneur has described her relationship with her aunt as “super close,” and has used Kamala Harris as a character in one of her children’s books.of having “ambitious” female role models like her aunt in her life to dream big and “do something” instead of being a bystander. Maya Harris had Meena at 17 when she was still in high school, and Kamala helped raise her niece. Meena then served on her aunt’s presidential campaign in 2020 and then on the Biden-Harris campaign in communications and fundraising.
