The FBI's SWAT team arrested an armed woman who barricaded herself inside the lobby of the downtown Seattle FBI building Wednesday evening.

The House voted to hold Attorney General Merrick Garland in contempt of Congress for refusing to turn over audio of President Joe Biden.A photo of a Seattle Police Department officer at the scene of a " public safety " situation that occurred in downtown Seattle on the afternoon of June 12, 2024.

The FBI said local law enforcement and negotiators communicated with the woman for nearly an hour. FBI SWAT then arrested her at around 4:12 p.m. without incident.
