The U.S. Department of Justice provided detailed evidence linking Russian intelligence to a bot farm. The FBI identified phone numbers, IP addresses, and emails of the FSB and the state-owned media Russia Today (RT) operatives behind the Kremlin disinformation botnet.

Russia denied ties with the AI bot farm citing a lack of evidence. Russia’s main state news agency RIA Novosti A purported Minneapolis resident posted a video of President Putin claiming certain areas of Poland, Ukraine, and Lithuania were "gifts" from Russian forces that liberated them from Nazis in WWII.
