Enchanting, the Texas rapper who signed to Gucci Mane's 1017 label in 2020 before leaving last year, has died at the age of 26.
“So sad to have to say R.I.P to such a great young lady a true star we gone all miss you Chant,” Gucci wrote in a social mediaEnchanting, whose real name is Channing Nicole Larry, signed to 1017 Records in 2020 and left after releasing 2022’sCoi Leray, who collaborated with the rapper on her “Freaky Deaky” track, also shared a tribute to Enchanting, writing on Instagram stories, “My heart broken praying for Enchanting friends and family. R.I.P.
“Staying in the studio and constantly recording, it helps me find the style I can be good at,” Enchanting previously said in a statement posted to her. “It’s like Trap-n-Blues,” she wrote when describing her style of music. “Other people can relate to the things I say. I might help somebody through any situation, they can listen to me and find peace.
