Majin Buu gave the Goku a lot of grief at the end of Dragon Ball Z, and now in a new piece of fan art from Justin96636 three of Buu's different forms get a mythic makeover!
In the legendary series that is Dragon Ball, the villain named Majin Buu was one of the most powerful enemies the Z-Fighters ever faced, and in a jaw-dropping piece of new fan art, this ultimate bad guy gets a mythical redesign for not one but three of his overpowered transformations!
Recently shared on Twitter by username @Justin96636, this account consistently posts breathtaking images of various bits of nerd culture illustrated in the unique art style of Japanese Ukiyo-e paintings. A centuries-old style that is often seen in relation to Japanese folkloric and mythological images, @Justin96636 taking Majin Buu and giving him the Ukiyo-e treatment is a redesign that Dragon Ball fans need to know about.
Admittedly, Majin Buu is already a god-like being in nearly every form he takes, so by using this Ukiyo-e Japanese art style to enhance his more mythical qualities, @Justin96636 perfectly depicts this overpowered villain in a way that fans will be drooling over.
So while @Justin96636 still has more than a few of Buu’s remaining forms to bring to life in this beautiful Ukiyo-e art style, getting these three transformations right off the bat is a treat for fans of the character nonetheless.
